Hi guys your thoughts on this when i did a shootout between Axis Q6045 and Pelco D5220 the Darkfighter crushed them for outdoor low light park surveillance. The price is great and now Genetec bans the best lowlight camera some sites it stays in colour 24 hours a day where the axis and Pelco show plenty of digital noise.

The D5220 is 5+ years old. You are not comparing apples to apples. Pick Axis Lightfinder, Bosch Starlight, or Avigilon Lightcatcher for comparison to increase relevance.

Its clear Genetec chose to prioritize security risks over the ability for one specific set of cameras to perform slightly better than another.

#1, Hikvision Darkfighter, in general, is very good. Our related test results - Hikvision Darkfighter 1/2" Imager Camera Tested

Axis recommends the new Q6155-E, with the laser focus, as their best low light PTZ.

Btw, what Hikvision model specifically are you using?

Hik-2DF8236IAELW 36x Darkfighter PTZ .

Zoom is exellent.Focus is slow so presets are a must. Stays in colour 24 hours a day. Great price. But are the chinese going to kill us all with some lethal gas from within ..who knows.🤔

Will be running testing Darkfighter vs Vivotek this week will let you guys know the results.
