Note: I changed the title from the member provided "HIK Now Just Giving The Stuff Away Free !!" to "Hikvision Social Media Promotion - Free DVR Raffle" since the entrance details do not make clear what percentage of entrants will win. If anyone has more information on this, I'd be happy to update.

The fine print:

Hik representative: Congratulations on your glorious victory! All the paper work looks good, except for one minor detail, you have still not 'liked' us on Facebook. If you wouldn't mind...

Winner: Yeah, about that... its just that my Mother would see that, and she's kinda funny about China, so

Hik representative: No problem. Block your Mom!

Winner: Give me the damn DVR!

Hik: Like us, or else!

Ok, new info, Hikvision is giving away 1,000 DVRs so updated title.

I guess #U1's original title is close to correct :)

With 1,000 DVRs and one per company, only for UK and Ireland, and only those who submit, means that pretty much anyone who submits will win.

1st. You just put your personal facebook name to them. so now they can data mine all your friends, nice job!!

2nd. Way to go to get every single business buying CCTV in one fail swoop! Honestly I am sure hikvision use of your details is going to be honorable!

3rd. Kind of unusual the domain registration owner is not even hikvision but one Chris Adams in the UK! Can't quite understand why not even hidden, they must be cheap to save the $6.95 Godaddy fee to hide the name!
