I just plugged in a spare camera I haven't used in a few months. It was added to my EZVIZ account, but I never added it to any app by its IP address.

But this weekend I plugged it in and a day later happened to open iVMS-4500 on my phone for something else, and that camera was added by its IP address, ports forwarded and all. Is this how Hikvision's changes to these services are supposed to work now? Why not just use the cloud connection only?
