Is TVI standard? or can you have compatibility issues connecting different brands together?

Your help is much appreciated.

Whose TVI to HDMI converter are you using? What is the brand of the 'no brand' TVI camera?

As a general observation, compatibility problems in such 'integrations' are quite possible. Whether the issue is on the camera or converter side, I could not tell abstractly.

TVI is a specification from Techpoint but that does not mean nor guarantee all devices implement it the same / follow it exactly.

Yes I agree since it is showing color bars. I have heard from tech support that they have seen issues similar between camera and DVR and it was fixed with a DVR firmware upgrade

What is the model of the DVR?

What resolutions is the DVR capable of handling?

What is the distance of the cable run?

What kind of cable is being used for this camera?

How is power supplied to the camera?

Is there any way to verify that the camera works on a different recorder?

Was the camera tested on a bench prior to install?
