I have a client who is very picky (who doesn't). Of all the REX device images I have shown them none meets the aesthetically pleasing look. Does anybody know of one?
Help Me: Looking For A "Pretty Looking" REX
How about these? The World's Smallest PIRs
Brian - every time i ask a question one of you IPVM emps link to a great article. I actually search for such things before adding to the discussion pile. Either i don't know how to search correctly or IPVM needs to improve the search engine.
Either way - that is definitely a start!

What about using a Clip? You ever seen one? Its slightly larger than a pack of matches.
I DO NOT work for Visonic, just a friendly suggestion. They have another that looks similar to the end of a nail, about 3/4" wide PIR. Now you would have to get wise with things to use these type of detectors they are for Security.
Only one answer on the market I'm aware of -- Visonic Spy 4. Looks like Brian linked above. Have used, they work well.
How about getting an electrified mortise or cylindrical lock (depending on what they have now) and purchase with a REX built in.
Of if an existing crash bar you can retrofit to install a RX switch
the Paxton Marine version is very aesthetic. Has a matching reader as well, but I believe the reader is proprietary to their acu's.
Hi, have a look at Kantech T. Rex Exit Detector, it goes above the door, so out of eyesight.
I have a feeling thats the exact type of rex he is talking about - that he wants to avoid.
Try SPY 4 from Visonic or Bosch/Detection Systems DS150i in black. There is probably a new part number associated with the latter but I'm dating myself.
