When Using Camera Lens Calculator for Bosch, what shall be the recommended height of the Focus Area or Tilt Angel?

The tilt angle is typically determined by the camera's mounting height and the distance of the subject. In particular, the higher one mounts the camera and the closer the subject is, the higher the tilt.

Thanks, however for fixed cameras, we cannot recommend Focus Area height (Camera Tilt) with respect to Fixed Camera height?

You can certainly enter in a tilt into the Calculator. In terms of our recommendations, if you want to get direct head shots and not the top of heads, try keeping tilt to -15 or less.

What is represented by the darker triangle in the FoV that changes with scene height?

Brad, the darker area is the dead zone, ergo why its darker, its the area that cannot be seen given the camera's tilt / FoV.

Thought that might be it.  Thanks John.
