HDMI Out Required?

Hi all,

Long time lurker, first time poster. Love the site

Does anyone please know of any adaptor/accessory that would take the data from my IP security camera via Cat5/Cat6 cable and allow it to be used in an installation requiring an HDMI output?

Cheers!!

Yes, this is a good mention. This would permit an IP camera to use HDMI for local display to a monitor. Good call!

That Cat5/6 cable does a whole bunch more than just transport video.

It's the way the camera itself is managed. If the camera has a coax or component video output, then an HDMI adpater is possible.

And in the extremely unlikely event that the camera is a Axis M1025 with HDMI out, you're good to go (assuming you don't need to "go" far...)
