Hi all,

For a CCTV project we are looking for a HD-SDI to ONVIF/RTSP encoder.
Goal is to connect these HD-SDi camera's to new VMS solution.

There are options for true encoders, but they tend to be focused on the broadcast industry and very expensive (plus, some use JPEG2000 output, which will also increase storage requirements. Ex: IPT-1G-SDI

A better solution might be to use an HD-SDI DVR as an encoder, similar to what is outlined in our Cutting Costs 70% Using Milestone With HD Analog report.
