HD DVR's That De-Interlace In Real Time.

I recently purchased a Vitek HD DVR (OnCue Bridge 16 channel) Thought it was the right choice for me transitioning from a Nuvico Apex Light 8 channel. I thought I would transition from Analog to HD/TVI over time. Coax was installed throughout the house during remodel so a cat 5 cable is not an option.

I was surprised to see interlacing of the image on the real time screen view as well as the history playback. Only after exporting the video to a USB in native format and then playing on another computer via the Vitek player that was loaded automatically onto the USB during export was I able to change the interlace mode to off, showing me a clear readable image (In this case a license plate number of a vehicle traveling by at 30 MPH).  In the past the Nuvico system corrected this issue/problem for me automatically and another DVR from way way back (Pelco DX8000) had a "Display Deinterlaced Image Option" in the View Tab that worked well. After talking to Vitek tech support they told me there is no option for their OnCue Bridge DVR.

What other DVR's mid ranger or better are out there that would not only be able to show me clear detailed images in real time and/or in history playback, but record in HD Analog as well as support old school Analog. Does it even exist?

So the legacy Analog cameras themselves output in interlaced format?

Whose are they, I had several Sony’s that could output de-interlaced video at half-frame rate.

Huh, not sure, will test that tomorrow. As for a brand of camera the License Plate Recorder is KT&C KPC-LP850NH.

Looks like the camera is interlaced.

Here  is a 16 ch TVI analog model that claims to deinterlace.

I don't remember seeing deinterlacing options in any of the TVI stuff I've tested, but I will pull a recorder and check tomorrow. Most, if not all, of the TVI gear we have is Hikvision or Hikvision OEM, so should be fairly similar to each other.
