Anyone have any experience and or recommendations for DVR's that support all the coax HD formats?

Digital Watchdog's VMAX A1 series is listed as "universal." We recently tested their universal encoder and it worked well with AHD/TVI, but CVI was spotty.

Dahua's "penta-brid" DVR models are now starting to ship, as well. We haven't touched them yet, but plan to test in the future.

In branding, any "brid" more than a tri is a brid too far ;)

If you have a site with mixed HD analog cameras I would just choose the camera type you have the most of and get the matching DVR and replace cameras as needed. The last time I tried to mix CVI/TVI thinking it would be simple it bit me square in the ***.  Just my 2 cents.
