I am wondering if the "Issues" with the typical AV Camera has been fixed and what kind of reviews the AV12176DN Cameras are getting - I have a project that the customer is looking at trying some of these to cover the corners of his building and his parking lots?

Joseph, that camera is an Omni which can be configured / setup for 270.
We did a test of it, see: Testing Arecont Omni. The plus side is that the camera is very flexible, the downside is that we are still getting the stuck cut filter and image flipping problems as before.
