Has anybody used the Hik 5mp Exir Turrets with H.264+ compression? I am trying to weigh the pros and cons to getting the 5mp version or getting the 4mp version with H.264, obviously there's some bandwidth savings with the H.264+ but I was wondering how the night vision was for the five megapixel version if there is some light to work with. I need to cover a wide area so I likely will be using a 2.8mm lens

I thought HIK discontinued 5MP a few years ago. Just had a look on the website and also can not see any mention of 5MP Turrets. Are you sure you are looking at current Hik products?
They are in the latest catalog and they are for sale at ADI, so I guess they are back
Are you able to post a part number for one of them? I just went through the Hikvision website and can not find them.
