We have tests of Foscam. Both this model and its standard definition counterpart. They were pretty underwhelming, but they do have quite a following online. Probably because...they sell for cheap, and now even cheaper!

An SD camera for $55? Groupon 'deal'?

Right now, it's $62 on Amazon.

Also, this is not their first time with the group deals. I recall them doing Cinco de Mayo specials, etc.

^^ That's Funny John.

How better to celebrate Mexican Indpendence than with a cheap PTZ

Maybe we can keep an eye on the Margaritas with it

Foscam is the company that recently had issues with people hacking into the cameras, replacing admin user credentials, and then using the 2-way audio and video to say inppropiate things to kids, or just watch them. Many people use them as baby monitors. They have since issued a firmware upgrade, but there are thousands of them out there, and most home users don't check things like firmware versions or manufacturer websites.

The cameras had multiple vulnerabilities, and as of the article date, 99% of their cameras were running old firmware.
