I have noticed many CCTV companies offer GPS tracking along with Video/Access Control, etc. Why is this?

Aside from mobile CCTV systems that are used in transit or fleet management applications (see image below), I haven't really heard of GPS tracking relating to surveillance or access systems. Can you share an example?
