Is anyone else seeing a trend in Government specific bids of them dictating equipment/materials markup lower and lower? I've seen reasonable (+/-25% markup max) maximums for years, but recently I've seen it as low as 10% markup being dictated.
Disturbingly, a new one just came across my desk that said all equipment/materials must be provided "at cost" to the end-user. This is a little troubling to me as I don't know of ANY security integrators that are "not-for-profit" entities.
