Fraunhofer HHI Finalizes H.266/VVC [50% Reduction Over H.265]

The Fraunhofer Heinrich Hertz Institute ("Fraunhofer HHI ") is a world leader in the development of mobile and fixed broadband communication networks and multimedia systems. They announced yesterday the finalization of the new H.266 video coding standard.
