An end user contacted us for help. They lost the password to access Exacq. Any ideas of what can be done?

Is it your customer and are you an Exacq integrator?

If the answer to either is no, I would not expect that Exacq can help you - without further documentation/clarification from the customer.

i.e. if they are someone else's customer, unless the original integrator has ceased to exist, Exacq should rightfully ignore requests from you without the customer filling out an 'integrator of record' listing you as the new one (with the caveat that you are an existing Exacq integrator to begin with).

What you do is find the install folder. You will see useraccounts.xml and useraccountdefaultadmin.xml. Rename the useraccounts.xml and rename useraccountsdefaultadmin.xml to useraccounts.xml Restart the server and user is admin pass is admin256. Let me know if you need the default xml uploaded somewhere.

Removing the XML file doesn't work anymore with the latest version, you need to contact Exacq Support and they can walk you through the process.

I doubt they are on the latest version :) but I did recommend them to speak to Exacq tech support.
