We are looking for something to help us track service work orders. We are small/startup so we only have a couple of work orders a week. I just need something to keep track of them, dispatch to service technician, capture signatures on mobile device.

Later down the road Quickbooks integration, linking to assets, warranty/contract status per asset would all be nice features but not necessary now.

Hey Jay!

We're currently using Zoho projects and it's been perfect, you can add to it as much as you want Tasks,Sub Tasks etc.

We track and dispatch technicians based on it and it will be easier to scale with!

Last but not least the most important thing is that you wont have to break the bank for it, costs 250 Dollar per year and if you buy it fully for inventory, accounting and invoicing it would cost total 400 something per year.

Highly recommended!

Have a look at Workflowmax/Xero.  We started on this platform as it is very easy to use and doesn't cost alot.

Serviceledger

Anyone know anything about this service management software.

Service Ledger

It looks like an off the shelf packaged software.  Just wondering if anyone has used it or knows anything about the software or any customer service experience or issues.

We are also looking for field service software that will integrate with Quickbooks. The hope is that the techs can receive the sales orders out in the field. Clock in and out of the job. Make notes and indicate what material is used. Then the office can review the sales order make changes as needed then convert to an invoice. Seems simple but every platform doesn't seem to be there yet for one reason or another.

We have not tried any of these however they are on our radar to try.
