If I have a system with 10 licenses and I buy 10 new cameras, I usually disable (uncheck) the camera that is being physically disconnected and connect the new camera once it has fully been installed. I do this one at a time to keep the offline video feeds to a minimum. However, some of these systems have footage months worth of recorded video which I can't access when the camera is not enabled. I don't have enough licenses to have the legacy cameras enabled, which would allow me access to the previously recorded video. If I do need to view playback from a legacy camera, I have to take an existing camera offline to enable the legacy camera in order to have access to the recorded video.
Is there another way to accomplish this?
