Peter George is making some pretty incredible claims in the second video...

"So, all the guns, all the bombs, all the large tactical knives.... So, we've written the signatures for all those weapons."

They may want to consider hiring all the lawyers.

Agreed, those are big claims, and that is only one example - there are several others here: Evolv CEO's "Signatures For All The Weapons In The World" Claim Analyzed

They may want to consider hiring all the lawyers.

Related, Evolv recently made a major marketing change. Instead of saying their goal is "weapons-free zones" they now say "safe zones." Evolv Drops "Weapons-Free Zones", Switches To "Safe Zones"

my big issue is the unrealistic expectations from school administrators when it comes to the technology. "Smart" metal detectors are better than the "old school/dummy" ones but still require active management and secondary screening for everybody flagged by the detector by SROs or armed guards, not teachers. A lot of school systems we work with are asking for these but they don't have the manpower to staff them as well as training and procedures to handle a positive weapon detection. A kid bringing a gun to school won't just hand it over when buzzed by the metal detector, most probably will end up in a shootout in a packed school lobby.
