In class, we talked about having a RTE sensor or request-to-exit button that avoids the forced door signal. I believe I found an exit device request-to-exit switch (Von Duprin RX (Request to Exit) Switch Kit) that I believe is a 3rd option. Has anyone used these switches? Does anyone have any thoughts on using these switches in lieu of a RTE sensor or request-to-exit button?
