what could be the limitation for using the HID R10 SE reader with the eDCM 300 controller? Also, we shall use DESfire or iClass technology?

Mar 04, 2015Incompatibility is not an issue between the eDCM 300 and the HID Reader. Using wiegand, they will communicate as expected.
However, I'm not sure what you mean by 'limitation'. Are you curious about mounting? Power?
Also, we shall use DESfire or iClass technology?
Now that's a big question! :) Are there other access systems/readers/existing credentials that you need to work with? Or is this a totally new and seperate system?

Also, what shall be the expected power limitation since the reader specification calls for operating voltage of 5-16 vdc, linear supply recommended
