Dormakaba Solitaire Lock May Stop Working On Nov 24, 2021
I received the attached Urgent Product Alert, indicating that certain locks will stop functioning at 8pm on November 24th 2021. Is this normal? Are they fishing for sales? Did they purposely stop supporting their legacy hardware to force an upgrade? Standard practice? Should they have provided more than a month notice to procure, install, and configure a replacement access control system?
I have no idea why I received this, as I don't have/support any of their products.
