If a customer has variety of options to choose from in PTZ covered perimeter solution in terms of resolution - VGA, D1, 720p or 1080p...which one will get better results. Sicne the accuracy matters while auto tracking.

Does Higher Resolution Means Better Autotracking Results In PTZ ?

Aug 21, 2014I have never heard a relationship between resolution and PTZ autotracking.
Also, I do not recall PTZ autotracking working well outside of simple scenes (minimal vegetation, good lighting) with low traffic of people / cars.
