Does Anyone Have Any Suggestion To Help With Corrosion Of Camera In Car Wash?

I have a number of Hikvision ball turret style IP cameras located in carwashes.

I recently noticed the cameras and junction boxes located in the automatic wash bays are corroding away after about 2 years in service.

I guess the chemicals they spray to get the car clean are pretty potent.

I know that they offer a stainless steel TVI camera, but I'm looking for an IP solution.

Has anyone found a way to treat these cameras with perhaps a coating or type of paint to help them keep from being eaten away in just a few years?

We have had success using vandal domes (both IP and HD over Coax) at a few car washes. First one we did was back in 2013 and besides having to clean the domes regularly we have only had one issue and that was because the camera wasn't properly sealed by the tech (doh!)

As for the junction box, best to use the powder coated metal boxes that are usually spec'd by the manufacturer for whichever camera you decide on.
