For many in the US, the weather is atypically cold this week. On Facebook, a distributor posted this and asks 'Do you store the cable in a heated location in advance?'

The image from Genesis Cable below recommends storing wire in heated areas 24 hours in advance and choosing thicker jacketed cold weather cable to avoid the cold temperature from breaking and cracking wire during install:
