A member recently raised an interesting question in chat: How do earthquakes affect security systems?

Not really 'end of days' complete distruction type of events; but the more mild and frequent 'shakers' that crack foundations, mess up bookshelves, and cause pictures to fall off walls. Just today, there have been >20 quakes with a magnitude greater than 3.0 have been reported globally, so it's fairly common.

Do these more mild, but far more frequent seismic events cause your systems problems?

From false alarms to failure, what do you see?
