I am evaluating which one of these camera/VMS systems to use as a standalone VMS offering as well as an integrated application with several of the access control systems that say they have integration with DW and/or Hanwha. We are also looking long-term to use some of the built-in AI features of the cameras to be able to bookmark events that relate to the number of vehicles parked at a vacation rental property, aggession events, being able to tell the difference between a car and a motorcycle, and a dog, as well as possible idenifying events when a trespasser at a property is trying to limbo underneath a barrier gate at a vehicle entrance. We would ideally want to integrate the AI alerts into a third party property management platform if possible or at least create some kind of pop-up.
Aside from the AI though, I have been playing around with a DW CaaS camera and have not been impressed. This feature looked attractive for low count applications where we are watching a gate or just a couple of entry points and don't want the added expense or complexity of deploying an on-site NVR for just a couple of cameras.
