Serious question: how does Dahua consistently do such things? Look at Hikvision, they almost never make such errors.

To give context: ISC Brasil's Own Photos - Half Booth Babes
Axis did not post it on LinkedIn as a promotion, we found the image in a collection from ISC Brasil's photostream and publicized it.
So the faux pas was more the promotion of the girls than the girls themselves?
I would assume both companies would argue that the 'showgirls' were culturally acceptable for their respective regions - Brasil and China. That could be debated.
However, once Dahua decided to choose LinkedIn, an American company with mostly English speaking users to showcase their 'showgirls' it is a clear faux pas.
That is just so wrong... why can't businesses sell on the product alone? Why must they resort to tricks like this to bring in sales? Is this really going to change anyone's mind about the product? So distasteful on so many levels. And, as a female, I don't think you need to sell yourself to make money. Go out and get a job... quit using your face/body to get a dead-end job.
