Is anyone using Dahua products with their IVS functions? We played around with it for an hour a few months ago and we couldn't see how the alerts really provided any real alert.
Has there been any improvement with the new Smart PSS 2.0 on the alerts?

We played around with the trip wire feature this weekend.
For starters it seemed inconsistent. Sometimes it would go off, sometime it wouldn't.
We configured IVS on the camera itself.
We went into Smart PSS 2.0, event config, enabled IVS for channel 1, and set it to record.
We set IVS on the NVR as well.
In SPSS we get the alerts, and it keeps a log. But when we click the icons on the far right, it says "Alarm event capture not found". My thought is the log would link directly back to the video clip that generated the alert.
The goal is to have trip wire and abandoned item features working. These are not immediate threats, so a user could come in after a weekend, browse the log, and view video from all the events. It seems as if you can do this from playback by isolating IVS only events though. Kind of makes the event log worthless.
Am I doing something wrong or is this still a work in process?
