Every couple of years it seems the VMS we run with as our main product to sell needs to be assessed. We have used Digital Watchdog/Network Optix platform on Windows for awhile now. It's a solid platform with great features. The drawback is as a distributor of product, they don't leave much room for margin on licenses. You can find licenses online for about $69 ea. DW just hammered us with a 17% increase in cost it appears.. (no heads up on this was a frustration and part of my reason for looking for alternatives).
