Does anyone have any suggestions on this? This sounds easy enough to find but I am actually having a hard time finding one. I need it to have these 4 features:

  • 12V DC
  • Omni-directional
  • Weatherproof
  • Cost Effective (like under $100)

I can usually find one with 1 to 3 of these features but not all 4. I like Ubiquiti's products but most of them use POE which I am not looking for.

You can power Ubiquiti (and I think Ruckus, and Mikrotik, and others) via 12VDC, you just need to get a passive injector. It's basically a splitter cable which pulls out the pair used for power, like this one. If you need it to be screw terminal, it's easy enough to get DC power plugs, too.

The only wireless gear I can remember being directly 12VDC powered (actually had terminals for it) was Fluidmesh, but that's not below $100.

After reading the specs, it is 12V DC. Easy enough and problem solved. Thanks!
