With all the upheavals in the last few years, new technologies making old ones obsolete, changing market conditions, companies merging, being acquired or going under, which ones are you surprised are still around and why?
I'll lead off with SightLogix. I'm surprised they are still around because of their niche focus in camera based analytics, particularly thermal cameras, when there are so many other options and combinations of options for doing the same thing. I'm not arguing they aren't top tier in what they do- I believe they are. But I would have thought they'd have been at least acquired a long time ago.
