Hello, we are looking for a "clock-in app" that we can use for our installers.
Right now they write their time down on sheets and hand them in...
How does everyone handle this?
Thanks

Kenny,
we have use harvest... it works well for a "clock in app" but also allows you to do timesheet approval, invoicing and expense logging... hope this helps...
Hey Kenny,
We here at CCS use ESC Tech. This allows our dispatchers to create service tickets. A message gets immediately sent to our phone app. It gives the installers the ability to have a full description of what was promised, as well as clock in, out, lunch, off job, pending, write notes, and complete jobs. Once completed the job gets sent back to the dispatch team with all the hours used on the job as well as notes of what was completed and what may still need to be completed.
We've tested a kajillion solutions including Harvest, Sedona, Dice's service platform, quick books service, etc. internally. We landed on simPro (company just moving over from overseas(Australia) that targets the security/fire/trades verticals.)
1 mobile app license comes free with every office license. If you are looking for a job suite I would recommend it which includes technicians logging time on the app.
Harvest works well
We use T-Sheets and it works well
