Clicking On Panoramic Image To Point PTZ Camera To That Spot - What Camera Combos Or VMS Support This Feature?

Hi

More research revealed that Dahua has  the PFW8601-A180 PANORAMA which performs in-camera stitching

I take this opportunity to ask the collective for the following: The Dahua PSS application touts that they can link click on a panoramic picture to a PTZ.. In other words you click a point on the panoramic picture and the PTZ will go that point. At a specified focal length I suppose. This is a requested features by a few customers. Can this be done by other VMS? Other camera combo? I know that Axis pairs some of its Panoramic cameras to  some Axis PTZ cameras . The Hikvision Panovu has some models with PTZ which perform this ... What VMS support support this features? Thanks in advance.

The Hanwha PNM-9320VQP camera has 4 heads + a PTZ. It can be configured to perform PTZ handover to events or on click from Compatible VMS.  It will be implemented in the WAVE VMS release v4.0.

Maybe the AXIS Q6000-E Mk II PTZ Network Camera will do what you need?  It's a combo 4x2MP for overview, and a PTZ in one.  I have never used it, cannot attest to its performance.

Vivotek offers this solution with our 5MP Fisheye cameras and SD model PTZ's.  We can also utilize the Fisheye auto-tracking feature to point the PTZ to that area.

GeoVision offers a series of cameras called the GV-PPTZ camera which has both a Fisheye 360 degree camera + a PTZ in the same camera housing and the two work in conjunction. We offer models with a 5MP Fisheye and models with a 12MP Fisheye. Both options have a 2MP PTZ and there are a couple optical zoom options. When clicking on the Fisheye view, the PTZ moves to the area you clicked on. Also, the GV-PPTZ14021 & GV-PPTZ14031 can utilize an object tracking feature to make the PTZ track on movement seen by the Fisheye.
