We are working with a client who hates access cards.

 

What alternatives are out there?

 

Their vision is that someone can enter a car park, building, lift, door completely seamlessly.

 

The standard solutions are:

 1. Mobile (Bluetooth) - anyone used systems that involve the use of beacons?

 2. RFID (implants) - this one they really liked

 3. QR Codes - mostly for single use / visitors

 4. Facial recognition - not sure if technology is good enough "at a distance" just yet

 5. Eye scanner - I have seen impressive improvements in speed recently

 

Any other ideas?
