have a customer that would like a camera to count how many vehicle (car, van, pickup truck, SUV truck) and Buses. so at the end of the day they could see vehicles and buses came through the parking gate entrance.
Reason: parking price for vehicle is lower than parking price for bus
Any technology beats sitting on the overpass all day counting.
Briefcam can do this though I am not sure what your budget is.
You're looking for a vehicle classification device. Bosch does it (Zareh Megerdoonian is the guy), or reach out to Transcore and Kapsch.
