Stupid question.
If you have a few category cables in a conduit, will twisting the cables around each other, (to remove excess length), affect the performance of the cable?

If you're using cheap cable you could be increasing the possibility of crosstalk between the cables. I want to say you're better off putting in a junction box and putting in a service loop to remove the excess length.
ok, but why?
inside the cable you already have two sets of twists,
does step 2 increase crosstalk?
if not then why would
3. twist the cables into pvc
This is more work than just putting a junction box up or cutting the cable to proper length and reterminating.
