Is there a way to view a HIkvision NVR on a web browser without an Active X Plugin?

Paul, from my experience, unfortunately, there is no way around this. Is there a reason you need to view this from a browser or can't use the plugin?

Viewing multiple recorders from different manufacturers that require plug ins creates conflicts.

Plus we have some of the clients are not interested in installing plug ins

I wonder if there is a way to integrate a HIkvision NVR to PSIM solution to resolve this?

it is the long lost feature that most manufacturers haven't figured out that it would make sense to not use Active X anymore or even a plugin at all.

No, (or not that I've found) but you can view individual cameras.  You would need to download VLC.  After you install it, click on "media" then "open network stream".  Here's further instructions for what to type into that field

You can download the IVMS 4200 software from the Hikvision Website and i don't think it uses an active x.  I have used this in many situations where the active x would not run.

Thank you for that.

The client can not have any additional software installed on the computer either so that wouldn't be an option. It must be done via web browser only

If you have one computer that works, then you could use remote desktop on the others. Not sure if something like Chrome Remote Desktop would be considered additional software in your situation?
