Battery Operated Camera

I have a customer who is looking for the following:

" I am looking to purchase a few security cameras and was wondering if you could help. The intent of these cameras is for activity and people. They will need to be battery operated, covert, night and day, small in size and with no glow - no visible flash."

Sounds like a trail cam application...

Seems like more info on the type of site and operational mission depth is needed.

Almost any IP camera has a load suitable for DC battery power which can be "hidden" and maintained many ways.

Of course all resultant design solutions balance desire against budget.

Hi Jason. Can you add some details about the requirement?

  1. Indoors or outdoors?
  2. How long of a run time is needed on batteries?
  3. Does the video need to be streamed live or is it ok to use local storage?
  4. If streaming is necessary, is wifi available or 4G?
  5. For the night requirement, what illumination exists currently?
  6. Is recording only on motion an option?
  7. What is the budget?
