not a bad idea - wonder if they are going to come in at a ubiquiti switch pricepoint or more of a hp/cisco level? I like the idea of the switch interface integrated into the VMS for management and control/troubleshooting but I think they are just showing a web gui

I don't ever see us using something like this we will stick with HP and Cisco for switches. I would rather invest my training time for my techs with a product that is more universal which 95+% of our current and future customers have. Not some oneoff product that will be a hard sell to customers IT departments.

1, is that where Axis is getting the switch software from?

Vitesse announced Microsemi is acquiring them last year.

By looking into the Firmware, you can see it's Lancom GS-23XX based switches.

Looks very similar to a Vigitron Vi3xxx series switch. The GUI is VERY similar.
