Hi! I tought to share my test results with you. I had a case where customer has two Axis Q-6114E cameras at top of a water tower. Area covered with those two cameras is guite large and local fire dept also wants to access them. Anyhow, customer is using Mirasys and fire dept is using Milestone. I had serious doubt about is it possible to connect same camera to two different VMS servers - but it seems to be working okay. Here is short video about this test setup :

Apr 06, 2018You might want to test having one server a couple of minutes off from the other and then change the recording parameters on one VMS different than the other.
These are “real life” situations that generally cause issues with this type of setup.
