Has anyone else been having issues with Axis cameras failing after less than 4 years? I have my cameras (about 80 total) on a 7-year replacement schedule, but I've had several cameras give up the ghost after 3-4 years and have to get them repaired, sometimes within the warranty period, sometimes not. Almost all of my cameras are behind a UPS and plugged into either a Cisco PoE switch or Axis PoE injectors.
Most of the failures are on outdoor cameras, which makes me think it's weather related (I'm in the rainy, Pacific Northwest), but when I take the cameras apart to inspect, there's never any sign of water intrusion. The seals all look good. Even some cameras in the more complicated mounts, like the telescopic parapet mount, which is clearly designed for the weather, have failed.
