Hi just a question for the group, has anyone had experience using the smart search feature in Avigilon's ACC with Hikvision Cameras? Recently completed an install for a large client and cannot get the feature to work? Does it only work in conjuction with Avigilon cameras?

Classified Object Motion search only works with Avigilon analytic cameras. Pixel Motion search is based off how the camera sends the motion flag to ACC. Hikvision basically sends a on/off event so pixel motion doesn't really work. You can confirm this by turning on Motion Activity overlay in the client software which will show the whole FOV turning red when a motion event happens. Avigilon cameras have granular pixel sized motion events which can confirm again by turning on Motion Activity overlay. Pixel and Classified Object search is one of the reasons we sell a lot of Avigilon solutions.

Undisclosed 1 Not sure there was a case from the beginning as I stand by my statement.
Thanks for your help guys truly appreciate your input, I figured we may need Avigilon end to end to take advantage of this feature. Then NVR was part of an upgrade from their original system, they may have to extend the upgrade to include cameras if they want this feature.
