Avigilon H5A 8MP IR Camera Night Video Is Bad

I really want to love this camera but i am having a hell of a time getting any usable nighttime footage from it. It seems to be blurry at best any time there is any movement. It seems to be OK where the nearby tree is illuminated by the IR but a truck that is 20-30' away and has graphics on it while sitting stationary is barely legible.
