Avigilon - Control A PTZ Based On A Fixed Camera View - Possible?
Is it possible to have a PTZ zoom into a point based on a user clicking on a fixed camera shot that falls within that PTZ's FOV? In other words, if I have a fixed camera looking at a section of seating, if I click on a seat in that camera's tile, can I have an associated PTZ zoom in automatically on that seat?

In my initial contact with Avigilon it does not seem to be supported. They are going to send it up the ladder to see if they can come up with anything. If they do I will post it here for future reference.
Brian, I think the term typically used for this is 'slaving' a PTZ to a fixed camera. I have not heard of Avigilon doing this but I strongly recommending asking Avigilon tech support as this is an advanced feature.
Btw, in general, this seems to be rarely supported. One reason I believe is that it requires some configuration / calibration between the fixed and PTZ cameras.
