Connecting Avigilon ACC 6 To Re-Branded Dahua IP Camera

I have a IPC-T5442T-ZE (which appears to be a re-branded Dahua camera) that I am trying to connect to Avigilon ACC6, I am able to get the camera to pop up in a search/discovery box within Avigilon using the user/password that I set up when initially configuring the camera, but when I attempt to connect to the camera and import it into the 'site' within Avigilon, I get a generic communication error. The camera is accessible via the web GUI and ONVIF is enabled and that is usually all that is needed in order to connect to Avigilon.

The Avigilon system doesn't have any Avigilon cameras connected to it, only a mix of re-branded hikvision cameras.
