Good morning. Just a conversation I would like to have. Sonitrol has had a corner on Audio with Alarms for some time. Their system actually works quite well. If you have an alarm, they can talk to the premises before dispatch. It is not a large deal breaker for most customers, but has anyone here ever tried to design a similar system with burg panels? Jun 13, 2018We have designed some systems using dB thresholds to activate alarm contacts on burg panels. In its most simple form, the mic hears a loud sound and activates a relay. Newer products can also do this over IP using a TCP event.
