Arecont's acquisition is done. Now, they are hiring again, including 3 RSMs:
Indeed, Arecont says they just hired an RSM in the Northeast as well.
But who's interested? Coming off the bankruptcy reorg, it poses some risk. What do you think?

If someone is looking to jump out of a Hikvision or Dahua sales postition it may be worthwhile. Surely, it cannot be any worse over there.
Could be a good opportunity for an entry-level person who wants to move into sales. It’s all upside from a resume perspective for someone like that.
I won’t check “disagree” but I disagree.
Every manufacturer has issues and sales has to deal with them. The issue is the long history of ignoring the issues. That will take some effort to rebuild. More than I think a new person should manage.
Let me clarify what I was trying to say...
I think this is a potential good opportunity for someone looking to get into sales specifically because of Arecont's challenges and issues. If you go to Arecont and do well, you could likely leverage that into a position with a better manufacturer, presumably for more money as well. If you go to Arecont and have a steep learning curve and don't do all that great, well, you can still go someplace else and blame your lack of success on Arecont's issues.
Arecont is a can't-lose training ground for someone new to sales.

if, however, you win the third place prize in the Arecont monthly sales contest, you may wish to omit it altogether from your cv.
Could be a good opportunity for a seasoned RSM to leverage a much higher base salary and commission because they otherwise will get no talent and they need a wizard to well.
Been approached three times in the past year to interview with them for an RSM role, most recently two weeks ago. Respectfully declined each time.
but I just read they are no way affiliated with the old arecont that went through chapter 11 so it looks like an amazing opportunity to me ;) lol
