IPVMU Certified

Does your business or local area require certifications to do intrusion work?

For example, some areas require installation techs to hold ESA's Certified Alarm/Security Technician 1 & 2 as part of licensing.

Who do (must) you use?  Is it good, or how could it be better?

Previous company had continuous UL inspections, never heard of local certifications regarding UL. California has an alarm license(IDK what it is); previous company enrolled everyone that had potential to install, service, design and administer(Billing/AR) an intrusion system. Registration was a fee and fingerprinting.

How could any of this be better? Perhaps an phone App or widget bound to a LinkedIn or online work profile/database that tracks us every more. A history report that shows how many accounts a person has come in contact with, do not know if this is useful; just brainstorming here.
